Batteries for elevators and escalators

Elevator and escalator are lifting and conveying equipment where power failure directly affects the safety of passengers. When the network is disconnected, the system must correctly complete the movement: the elevator must perform an emergency descent to the nearest level, the escalator must stop smoothly or maintain minimal power to the control circuits. These processes are provided by the battery, which takes over the backup power and supports the operation of automation, sensors, brakes and controllers.
